ENERCON are now recruiting for a Communications and Public Affairs Manager for a specified purpose contract to be based in either Santry, Dublin or Tralee, Co. Kerry.
Scope Leadership of the Western Europe Communications Team and all associated tasksSupport of all public affairs topics and communication projects for the Region Western EuropeWork within the Regional management and communications team and with other relevant business stakeholders to deliver creative and strategically aligned communication and marketing campaigns.Management of projects and events from creation and planning to execution.Support of local country managers to deliver PR assets such as media enquiries, relevant spokespeople and comprehensive messaging on various topicsWorking in partnership with the global communications team to execute cross regional communication plansKey Responsibilities Engage with senior executives and business leaders to develop key messaging, themes/topics, style/tone, target audiences and appropriate communications channelsSupport in the execution of external and internal communication plans.Oversee the production of content and write articles for different internal and external channels: newsletter, intranet, magazines, social mediaCreate and develop communication and marketing materials to support company activitiesSupport the communication needs of several internal departments: Sales & After-Sales, Project Management, Services, HR, HSE, IT, LegalPlan and manage internal and external events: fairs, site visits, inaugurations, seminars, customer eventsMedia Management: respond to press requests as well as write and share press releasesLiaise with external suppliers, particularly photographers or other agencies.Membership of the Regional Management Team and attendance at Regional Management Team meetingsLead the WE Communication team to ensure effective communication plans are developed and executedLead change projects, where necessary, to build on and develop the culture of communication within Region WEProvide advice and assistance to the Regional Management team on specific communications topics, ensuring accurate and timely resolutionRequirements An NFQ Level 7 degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing.Proven experience in high-level writing and multimedia content creation to effectively communicate key messages.Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams, inspire collaboration, and drive communication strategies.Self-motivated and confident working independently as well as within a team.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management, strategic advising, persuasive presentations, and senior-level reporting.Benefits Private Health InsurancePension Contribution SchemePaid Maternity & Paternity LeaveEmployee Assistance ProgramBike to Work SchemeEducational AssistanceFull PPE GearWorld class in-house trainingSports & Social ClubEmployee Referral ProgramENERCON retains the right to advertise all positions both internally and externally.
