Business Development Director | Adhesive Systems
* Location: Dublin, Ireland
Mackenzie Stuart is in close partnership with a global player in Adhesives, actively seeking a dynamic Business Development Director for their Equipment line. The ideal candidate must possess experience in driving growth within the LED, Photonics, or Custom Equipment sector.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute customer-centric go-to-market strategies.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
* Propel strategic sales growth by executing short, medium, and long-term business plans.
* Create and execute operational plans in alignment with the company’s objectives.
* Formulate and manage the business budget for commercial arrangements.
* Foster a high-performance culture by developing and empowering the R&D and business development teams.
* Drive innovation within the R&D engineering team to develop cutting-edge products and solutions by identifying emerging market trends and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
* Direct the formulation of strategic plans for the company’s overall operations and long-term growth.
* Analyze financial data and generate reports on commercial performance.
* Implement organizational changes to align with company goals or comply with legal requirements.
Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the LED, Photonics, or Custom Equipment industry.
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business preferred; MBA is a plus.
* Experience in using CRM and ERP systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience leading a cross-functional team.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
