Electric Ireland is the primary customer facing business unit of the ESB Group and is the leading energy supplier in Ireland. With over 1.5 million customers in both the Republic and Northern Ireland and an annual turnover in excess of €2bn, it is the main customer interface for the ESB Group.
We are looking to recruit a Technical Account Manager (Net Zero Products & Services) to work within Residential Markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Account manage Electric Ireland’s third-party delivery partners and service providers e.g, Solar PV installers, EV charger installers, Quality Assurance auditors, Work Force Management software solutions etc.
* Manage on-going operational activity associated with the account management including development, management and delivery of KPI reporting, monthly progress meetings and daily service delivery reports. Chair performance review meetings.
* Manage mobilisation and on-boarding of new contractors, including induction and other training as required.
* Health and Safety; ensure all activities including that of contractors are carried out in a safe way that protects our customers, staff, contractors and the general public.
* Manage Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) across all activities as required. Ensure contractors are aware & comply with Safety Reporting requirements and an appropriate Quality Plan is in place that addresses all risks.
* Provide technical expertise, support and training to the team on Net Zero Products as required, including for procurement processes and as input to the development of product suite.
* Ensure our partners deliver excellent customer service and manage any issues, including any KPI or SLA deviations as they arise.
* Input into and support any process improvements, including enhancements to customer journeys or IT system developments.
* Commercial: Ensure value from money, financial governance; contractor payments, customer payments, variation management.
Experience and Qualifications
* 3 – 5 years’ experience managing a third-party delivery partner in a related discipline.
* Experience in the management of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality in a construction related environment operating a main contractor/subcontractor model.
* Track record in delivering/installing related complex residential customer product/service offerings.
* Experience in developing and managing key performance indicators.
* Demonstrate excellent negotiating, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong IT skills particularly in Excel.
* Either 3rd Level qualification or equivalent work experience in Health & Safety or a related discipline.
* Ability to develop business cases.
* Experience in managing challenging relationships.
* Experience in conducting incident investigation and reporting.
* Experience in renewable products.
Location
This position will be based in Swift Square, Santry.

The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week. €48,000 - €56,500 per annum (depending on experience).
