Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at the Honestly Farm Kitchen. The successful candidate will be a key member of the kitchen team, working alongside a team of 5 in the kitchen and an experienced Front of House team.
The Role:
Chef de Partie (30-40 hours per week)
8th April to 28th September 2025 (over a 4-5 day week)
€16-17 / hr
Free meals on shift
Opening Hours: Monday to Sunday 9.30am to 7/8pm
Relocation Assistance
Duties:
* Prepare, cook and present dishes during busy service, according to our SOPs and to the highest standards.
* We make most of our food from scratch, so daily prep of meats, sauces, salads, falafel and savoury pastries, is a key part of the role.
* Control portion size and waste to maintain profit margins.
* Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks to the highest standards.
* Use our digital Kelsius system to maintain HACCP records.
* Assist with stock management.
* Follow Health and Safety procedures.
* Assist with developing new dishes and specials.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years experience in a busy kitchen.
* A food related qualification - essential to the role.
* Can lift heavy items.
* Works well in a fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrates an interest in sustainable food practices and great tasting food.
* Possesses excellent communication & multitasking skills.
* Willing to relocate to the Sligo area, or already live here (Assistance with relocation can be provided).
* Good conversational English.
