Beechfield Care Group is currently looking to recruit a Health Care Assistant to assume responsibility for the care of residents at Mount Hybla Private Nursing Home, White's Rd, Castleknock, Dublin D15 Y977.

About Mount Hybla
The original house and lands at Mount Hybla were a Glebe for the Church of Ireland Parish of Castleknock & Mulhuddart. The house, overlooking Farmleigh Estate in the Phoenix Park, was built around 1750 and is a protected architectural structure. With beautiful recreational grounds and activity spaces, Mount Hybla creates a warm atmosphere for all residents and their requirements. About the Role:
The Health Care Assistant is a key member of the multi-disciplinary team responsible for the care of our residents. The HCA helps, supports, and directs personal care required to maximize the independence and wellbeing of our residents, including looking after their physical, emotional, and cultural needs.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Undertake hygiene and dress care functions for residents.
2. Safe manual handling and transfer of residents within the nursing home.
3. Delivery of food to and feeding of residents.
4. Return of used trays and dishes to kitchen, leaving residents and their rooms neat and tidy.
5. Bed making and linen changes.
6. Provide incontinence and toilet care to residents, including emptying commodes and replacing catheter bags.
7. Assist trained nurses with the provision of psychological and social support as needed.
8. Continuous vigilance towards dignity, comfort, safety, and whereabouts of residents.
9. Continuous adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
10. Any other duties as required.
