What is the role about?
This role is responsible for designing and coordinating development of end-to-end bespoke logistics solutions for customers and internal stakeholders, across transportation, warehousing and freight forwarding operations.
Which tasks will you perform?
* Responsible for the development of the high to medium level solution playbook for new initiatives (process, physical, technical applications and integration).
* Support and plan a clear scope for the solution (supported by local and regional input).
* Ensure the correct stakeholders are included in the logistics solution creation (RASCI).
* Liaise with and manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the scope of the solution is captured with a high level of accuracy.
* Align required resources for the solution.
* Co-ordinate with the team on the solution delivery during the course of the project.
* Document layouts, processes (physical and systemic stakeholders) and a complete compilation of the solution playbook (the Team will input into the solution as required).
* Solutions playbook - sign off by stakeholders and handover to Project Management and delivery team in a controlled manner.
* Any other duties commensurate with your capabilities and as requested by your manager.
What do we expect from you?
Experience & Skills Required
* A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
* Process analyst, solutions engineer, logistics solutions specialist, logistics solutions architect, complex multiuser logistics solutions experience.
* Understanding Logistics processes and complex logistics solutions/systems architecture would be beneficial.
* Analytical and logical. Requirement to develop complex logistics solutions and support our customers value add solution proposals, including AS IS state, future state process design, process workflow requirements, solutioning and cost of solutions.
* Ability to use tools presentations tools such as PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel and others to assist in the communication of the scope.
* Experience working on projects with integration layers to understand the communication flows with SAP, TMS, WMS, API’s and integrations (high to moderate understanding).
* Experience working on Transport Management Platforms/Solutions or Carrier Integration Solutions.
* Proven experience of producing solutions that support the technical project Lifecycle.
* Knowledge working with SAP, API’s, Carrier EDI platforms, TMS integration layer.
* Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and able to focus on detail-orientated work for long periods of time.
* Ability to coordinate with the team during the delivery process to clarify solution scope questions.
