The Role: Associate, Supplier Relations
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the execution of all aspects of sourcing and procurement operations, including supplier onboarding, purchase order creation, relationship management, RFPs, contract negotiations, service renewals, and quality monitoring.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a strategic partner to Legal, Risk, and GRC functions for procurement, sourcing, and supplier management activities.
* Manage daily ticket requests and engage with stakeholders.
* Assist in reviewing and negotiating complex or large-scale agreements with suppliers, subcontractors, and external clients, partnering with Legal and stakeholders for contract review completion.
* Promote synergy and economies of scale globally across Gemini-related entities.
* Anticipate future business needs and mitigate exposure through commercial and contract negotiations.
* Support budgeting, business case development/validation, and critical ROI framework establishment across the firm.
* Provide training and education on the Sourcing process as needed.
* Prioritize competing initiatives and deadlines with minimal oversight.
* Conduct spend analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, avoidance, growth, consolidation, and track progress toward these objectives.
* Participate in or lead special projects, such as supplier base assessments, program cost reduction initiatives, and company-wide audits.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier/contract management.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of sourcing, procurement operations, and supplier/contract management, including policies, procedures, purchase orders, and inventory management.
* Effective stakeholder relationship management skills, including decision-making and influencing abilities.
* Desire to learn and grow, with a willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.
* In-depth experience with commercial and contract negotiations, including contract review and redlining.
