Our scientists develop novel methods and strategies to fight infectious diseases faster and more effectively.
Our common goal is to develop novel approaches for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases.
Our research focuses on bacterial and viral pathogens, their interaction with the human immune system and new effective agents and vaccines.
With a wide range of services and projects, the Computing Centre department, headed by Dr. Joachim Metge, supports both science and administration, thus making a fundamental contribution to the success of infection research at the HZI.
In a complex IT environment at several locations, 22 employees and six trainees face daily challenges and master them with competence and team spirit in a friendly environment.
These tasks await you: Active Directory (AD) specialist application support in a complex environment Provisioning, modifying, deprovisioning of: AD group and AD user permissions, shares, DNS records, group policies Management in a complex environment of domain controllers, IP networks, locations, Windows updates, DNS, Windows firewalls, worst-case scenarios, domain objects, AD interfaces Authorization management of groups within the AD and on file servers incl.
