The Land Development Agency is a key Government land management initiative established to coordinate state lands for regeneration and development. Its objectives are to:

Role Overview
The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of transformative residential and regeneration projects across the country and experience the full development life cycle of large-scale projects from acquisition and concept through to delivery and operation.
The ideal candidate will have technical qualifications and drive to play an important role in delivering landmark projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Services Engineer to join the Land Development Agency. The Building Services Engineer will assist in the day-to-day management of matters pertaining to the construction, technical, and operational stages of a project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the delivery of Building Services Systems on designated projects;
2. Support Liaison with Utility companies to ensure their infrastructural and interface requirements are understood, communicated, and adhered to;
3. Monitor equipment and plant through each stage from submittal approvals through to samples and mock-ups/ordering/FAT's/delivery and quality checking is carefully managed;
4. Monitor Building Services installation and commissioning works on site against the planned progress requirement of the programme;
5. Support formal snagging, quality walk downs, and associated inspection and sign-off of the Building Services Installation;
6. Support the development of site-specific Inspection, Test, Commissioning, and Handover Plans with Contractors;
7. Attend and witness on-site testing and commissioning demonstrations when required;
8. Support the progressive assembly and approval of the Safety File;
9. Review Building Services Design Drawings to ensure compliance with design specification and guidelines;
10. Collaborate with other participants in the design process: architects, structural, and fire consultants;
11. Attend design and contractor site meetings;
12. Evaluate Building Services information released for construction has been reviewed by all designers and construction team, amended/approved prior to issue for construction, and is in line with the specification/contract;
13. Coordinate and control the flow of mechanical design information to ensure timely release of information for construction activities.
Essential Requirements:
* 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a relevant area;
* Experience working in the Residential Sector is essential;
* Technical Competence through operational involvement in MEP projects;
* The ability to demonstrate technical and commercial skills necessary to support the management of building services projects;
* Effective interpersonal skills working in multi-disciplinary teams;
* Awareness of health and safety policies and practices and positive safety values and behaviors;
* Understanding of importance in implementing quality management systems, inspections, test commissioning, and handover plans;
* Demonstrable willingness to take on new responsibilities and ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team within a well-defined project organisation structure;
A driven proactive solutions & results-focused team player with adaptability, keen interest in the development process, and developing skillsets like project and development management skillset contractual, commercial, and financial aspects of development projects; building & managing stakeholder relationships.
Technical knowledge – understanding of technical principles, construction buildability, technical solutions value engineering would be an advantage.
