Position
Key Responsibilities
* Client relationship management, balancing client relationship and working capital management.
* Planning, producing, and delivering compliant proposal documents within a complex business environment.
* Functioning effectively in a small team with individual responsibilities and collective goals.
* Maintaining credit control system and contacting debtors to secure payments.
* Reviewing aged debtors reports and sending out monthly debtors statements.
* Preparing weekly and monthly management reports.
* Cash allocation and bank/accounts reconciliation.
* Managing cash received and processing cash receipts information.
* Managing invoice disputes through direct communication with clients and resolving non-payment issues.
* Setting up new accounts ensuring full details and contracts are in place.
* Proactive approach in dealing with problem accounts.
* Preparation of reports as required by the company.
Requirements
Key Requirements
* 1 - 2 years’ previous experience in a hands-on credit control position and proven experience in a Financial Administrator role.
* Pro-active approach to work.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with both customers and colleagues.
* Self-motivated with planning, organising, and prioritising skills.
* Deadline focused with the ability to set and meet KPI cash collection and debtors days’ targets.
* Ability to recognise potential credit risks that need to be actioned.
* Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Computer literate – MS Office, especially Excel.
* Good management communication skills.
Candidate Specification
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Extremely organised with the ability to efficiently multitask.
* Strong motivation and work ethic.
Preferable Requirements (not essential)
* Currently studying or planning to study AAT (desirable but not essential).
* Experience with producing reports and statements.
* Experience with accounting software – preferably SAP.
