Role Purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled Statistician specialized in multivariate analysis and multivariate time-series modelling to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will focus on analysing complex biopharmaceutical manufacturing data, aiming to optimize processes and enhance predictive analytics capabilities. This position requires a PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the job include:
* Develop and implement sophisticated statistical models for multivariate analysis and time-series data pertinent to biopharmaceutical processes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data analysis needs and provide statistical insights that support strategic decisions.
* Manage and pre-process large datasets, ensuring data integrity and usability for complex modelling.
* Utilize advanced statistical software and programming languages, primarily R or Python, to perform robust data analysis and model validation.
* Document methodologies and results, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with industry standards through effective use of version control systems.
* Contribute to research and development efforts, staying ahead of current trends in statistical methodologies and biopharmaceutical manufacturing technologies.
Essential Criteria
* PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
* Demonstrated experience in multivariate analysis and multivariate time-series modelling, ideally within a biopharmaceutical or similar industry.
* Proficiency in R or Python for statistical programming.
* Strong experience with version control tools, such as Git.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience applying deep learning techniques to complex datasets.
* Administration of Unix/Linux systems
* Knowledge of database design and management.
* Familiarity with scientific instrumentation outputs, and using this understanding to enhance the ability to integrate various data sources effectively.
