IT Support Specialist Job Description
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to manage our company's IT infrastructure and drive technological advancements.
Main Responsibilities:
* IT Planning and Administration: Plan and administer IT hardware and software, including purchasing, licensing, and maintaining asset registers.
* Software Compliance and Licensing: Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and manage group subscriptions efficiently.
* IT Architecture and Strategy: Advise on current and future software and hardware needs and assist in planning IT architecture for a dispersed team.
* Workflow Efficiency: Support the planning and development of IT frameworks, tools, software, and applications to enhance workflow efficiency and output quality.
* Tech Support and Training: Guide the team in logging, managing, and reporting technical queries, and provide training and upskilling in new and existing software.
* Data Storage and Management: Develop strategies for the efficient secure storage and retrieval of large volumes of data, including centralized storage platforms for all project-related files.
* Cloud-Based Solutions: Implement cloud-based remote management solutions to ensure access to key information on the go.
* Collaboration and Data Reporting: Leverage Microsoft and other software tools (e.g., Teams, Power BI) for enhanced collaboration and data reporting.
* Network Stability and Reliability: Ensure network stability and reliability, addressing operational issues promptly.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft required.
* The role is based in Citywest and offers a hybrid work model.
