Responsibilities:
* Processing of payroll internally using Sage Micropay
* Responsible for advertising of all relevant roles, communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process, processing applications, creating short lists for recruiting managers, scheduling interviews, and communicating outcomes to candidates.
* Schedule pre-employment medicals, issue contracts of employment, and set up new employees on the internal system
* Responsible for the onboarding schedule for new employees.
* Assisting Managers & Supervisors with the selection process & interviews where necessary.
* Maintaining accurate HR filing systems in compliance with GDPR.
* Entry of data relating to HR into Payroll and HRMS systems ensuring records are kept up to date, accurate, and in compliance with relevant legislation with particular attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
* Providing support and administration to Managers & Supervisors on all aspects of HR
* Maintaining accurate records of statutory leaves
* Benefits Administration and liaising with external providers
* Monitoring and recording training on-site
* Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of HR
* Create statutory and management reports and presentations on HR metrics
* Participate in HR projects
* Provide cover & support for Reception
* Provide administration support for the Managing Director
Qualifications, Requirements & Skills:
* Degree required: BSc in Human Resources or relevant field
* Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment legislation is essential
* Experience in processing payroll is a distinct advantage.
* Excellent organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks & projects
* Respect for confidentiality of information
* Strong emotional intelligence
* 2-3 years minimum experience in a busy HR department
