Job Title: Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager
Job Summary
Our client, a Cork-based company, is seeking an ambitious Freight Forwarding Business Development Manager to drive the company's continuous growth.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify new business opportunities and drive growth with a primary focus on Air/Sea services.
* BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CLIENTS TO ENSURE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND REPEAT BUSINESS.
* Progress potential customers into sales.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue.
* Set manageable weekly visit targets in agreement with the Sales Manager.
* Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales and service delivery.
* Maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions using the company's CRM system.
* Maintain a high level of customer service and adhere to the KWE Ireland values.
* Conduct market research and analyze metrics on competitors' products, pricing, and market success to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
* 2-3 years of proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding industry.
* Strong knowledge of global freight forwarding (Air/Sea).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
* Client account management, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* A full valid driver's license is necessary.
