MIG Welding Robotic Operator/Programmer
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate robotic MIG welding cells, ensuring parts are manufactured in accordance with the production output targets.
* Adjust and set/program the welding cell to specification as required.
* Support the training of new operators and troubleshoot and repair robotic welding equipment as required.
* Recommend design changes as necessary to improve quality, reliability, and productivity of welding processes.
* Develop, in conjunction with the manufacturing team, the weld drawings and weld matrices.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience with MIG welding processes is essential.
* A knowledge of manufacturing and mechanical engineering is essential.
* Experience with MIG welding processes and robotic applications is desirable.
* An apprenticeship or third-level qualification in manufacturing or welding qualification is desirable.
