Role
This role will be entrusted to raise the company public profile through consistent and effective communication across various channels & external stakeholders namely, media journalists, industry analysts and key influencers. The ideal candidate will have a history of creating and implementing comprehensive global communication strategies, including crisis management. The role requires an adeptness at creating compelling narratives that appeal to a wide range of audiences, demonstrating strong leadership, project management and writing skills.
Reporting, the VP of Marketing and Communications, this individual will lead external communication initiatives including major company and product announcements, analyst relations, speaking engagements and award submissions. This role will collaborate closely with country marketers, the product marketing and product teams and members of the leadership team. The ideal candidate should also have experience in internal communications to ensure consistent messaging alignment between external and internal communications.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with leadership to shape and drive the corporate narrative and global strategy.
2. Create clear and persuasive messaging to support business goals and prepare both the leadership team and key company representatives for interviews and other executive engagements.
3. Lead communications for all company and product announcements, coordinating with all teams, managing the analyst and media strategy, and developing press and analyst related materials.
4. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, analysts, and industry influencers to boost the company´s visibility and reputation.
5. Anticipate and manage communication responses to potential crises or issues, with the aim of protecting the company´s reputation.
6. Supervise the production of high-quality content, such as press releases, articles, speeches, and presentations, that aligns with local audience interests and supports the company´s strategic objectives.
7. Uphold and enhance the brand on a global scale, working in partnership with the broader communications and content team to ensure consistency and alignment across various touchpoints.
8. Work with PR agencies at both a local and global hub level to secure positive media coverage.
9. Direct the global strategic and daily operations of the industry analyst relations program to ensure positive inclusion in key industry analyst reports, blogs, and other materials.
10. Strategically grow the analyst relations program by identifying and building relationships with analysts in the payroll and HR fields.
11. Manage the strategy and content development for regular analyst interactions, including email updates, virtual briefings, in-person meetings, and hosted analyst days.
12. Oversee the awards program in collaboration with other members of the communications and product marketing teams.
13. Contribute to the creation of presentations and content for speaking opportunities and presentations.
Experience and skills
14. 10 years of experience in corporate communications ideally in HR tech or IT.
15. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Strong media relations and storytelling abilities.
16. Experience in managing and growing analyst relations programs.
17. Experience in crafting materials and announcements for B2B/IT companies.
18. Experience in acting as the primary partner for external communication within the business.
19. Experience in overseeing PR agencies and guiding them according to business strategies.
20. Ability to translate business goals into effective communication strategies.
21. Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
22. Strong team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
