Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering medium to large infrastructure projects on-time and within budget, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate technical projects through the public planning process to achieve planning consent.
* Project manage a portfolio of transmission projects, ensuring appropriate project controls are in place.
* Lead engagement and coordination with partners and other stakeholders, including meetings, reporting, relationship management, and general communication.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external business stakeholders via meetings, presentations, and reports.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-performance capabilities and behaviours.
* Manage, review, and coordinate the work of external consultants for projects.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or technical equivalent with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
* Proven experience in managing large infrastructure projects, balancing project management with power systems understanding.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with proficiency in English required.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, defining and guiding own work under minimal supervision.
* Commercial awareness with the ability to make decisions and recommendations in all aspects of project implementation.
* Knowledge of the industry, environment, and context, e.g. knowledge of evolving energy industry and delivery challenges.
