Mechanical Assembly Operative.
(Athlone) This is a full time (40 Hours) position and reports to the Production Supervisor.
The role is initially for 6 months with the likelihood of a permanent opportunity.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Operative, with a background in assembly of special purpose machinery for bespoke projects to join our team to work on-site.
There may be some customer on-site installation assignments.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of production or assembly experience in an GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
Training provided.
The Role: Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation in accordance with GMP regulations.
Operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks.
Prepare components for manual assembly.
Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners.
Perform manual assembly of mechanical hardware according to assembly procedures and assembly drawings.
Adherence to all necessary requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precaution, safety and housekeeping.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Ideal Candidate.
A minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions would be preferable.
Leaving Cert with Qualification (or close to completing) or part qualification in Mechanical/Automation Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or qualified trade is welcome.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices.
Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
