Administrative Assistant Job Description
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative assistance and support to the project lead and wider team. The role involves organizing meetings, managing documents, and working closely with the communications team.
Job Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the project lead and wider team.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
* Organize and manage meetings, including taking and distribution of minutes.
* Operate the office's document management system and use SAP finance for raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
* Work closely with the communications team on newsletters, general comms, and other tasks.
* Manage training requests and associated administration required with training.
* Deal efficiently with communications, queries, callers, or visitors to the office.
* Manage online room booking systems for the office.
* Provide cover to staff colleagues during periods of leave or absence.
Eligibility Criteria:
* Hold a minimum of grade D (or pass) in five subjects from the approved list of subjects in the Department of Education established Leaving Certificate Examination or equivalent.
* Have satisfactory relevant experience encompassing demonstrable equivalent skills.
* Have previous administrative experience of working in a busy office.
