About The Role
We are seeking a Utilities/Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This role will focus on supporting capital projects, operations, and engineering functions within designated production areas.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to project completion, manage your time effectively, and develop plans for short-term work activities.
* Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure safety and quality across operations and engineering activities.
* Develop technical and operational standards and provide technical support to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
* Build productive relationships with process equipment and technology suppliers.
* Establish robust processes and systems to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing output.
* Lead team meetings, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and support operational campaign startups.
* Continuously optimize plant reliability and minimize lifecycle costs.
* Conduct RFT Method 1 investigations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* 3+ years of experience in cGMP industrial settings.
* Proven leadership and teamwork abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and experience managing budgets and cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have
* Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
* Familiarity with site operations.
* On-site support experience.
