Learning & Development Coordinator
The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a crucial role in promoting the company's values and best practice standards relating to health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct all duties in accordance with training procedures and promote company values and best practice standards.
* Assist Department Managers, Heads of Sections, and Supervisors in identifying training needs.
* Coordinate external training for employees, including OEM training for equipment and machines, as well as statutory training.
* Raise skills and effectiveness levels within the organization and contribute to ongoing improvement.
* Train employees on procedures, systems, and general operational duties as needed.
* Work with Head of Section/Supervisor to ensure trainees are fully competent post-training.
* Maintain training records and administer the training system using the Workday computerized LMS system.
* Audit the training system monthly and follow up on corrective actions as necessary.
* Evaluate training effectiveness and identify methods to improve training.
* Support specific projects related to training, as determined by the Head of HR.
Requirements:
* Training Skills Certificate QQI Level 6 or equivalent (willingness to undertake this accreditation as part of the role).
* Experience operating equipment and understanding production demands.
* Effective communication, influencing, and computer literacy skills.
* People coaching skills, motivating and maintaining standards.
* Good organizational, planning, and time management skills.
* Desire for creativity and innovation to continuously improve the function.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Some international travel may be required.
