Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a, Duty Manager to join the team in it's unique four star hotel. You will report to the Senior Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during your shift. You will be responsible for overseeing all departments, managing guest services, supervising staff, and handling guest concerns to ensure a memorable and seamless experience for all guests. Your role is key in maintaining the safety, security, and efficiency of the hotel. A Duty Manager will be responsible for: Oversee daily operations of all departments, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Ensure all team members are following procedures, maintaining high standards of service, and meeting guest expectations. Ensure that the hotel is in compliance with health, safety, and security regulations. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure all transactions are completed accurately and securely. Handle operational issues, emergencies, and guest complaints, making decisions to resolve problems efficiently. Ensure all issues are documented and reported to senior management as needed Provide regular updates to senior management on hotel operations, guest feedback, and any challenges encountered during the shift. To be successful in the role of Duty Manager we require: A friendly and professional approach to ensure guest satisfaction. The ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and resolve operational issues. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Knowledge of health, safety, and security procedures in the hospitality industry. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
