Financial Controller Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at the leading hotel in Cork.
Your Role:
* Compile, analyze and develop month-end financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow etc.
* Monitor and develop KPIs providing detailed analysis of revenue, margins, working capital, cashflow etc.
* Ensure compliance of Internal Controls and policies for all financial procedures.
* Assist the Hotel with the annual operating budget process with subsequent forecasts throughout the year.
* Preparation and review of Capex proposals for submission to Senior Management and board.
* Provide technical accounting support for colleagues on an on-going basis.
* Assist the leadership team with ad-hoc projects / initiatives.
Your Profile:
* Fully qualified with prior experience in the Hotel industry (flexibility available).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills- ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* High attention to detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
* Strong Excel competency.
