The Role
:
1. Provide leadership and guidance to the local accounting teams, including training and monitoring of performance to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner;
2. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS on a quarterly basis, including note disclosures and supporting working papers;
3. Liaise with external auditors to coordinate annual audit, including researching accounting policies and standards and drafting accounting memos;
4. Review and maintain financial and operating forecasts and cash flows;
5. Ensure the timely creation of quarterly financial reporting package and supporting schedules.
Requirements
6. Degree in a relevant subject and be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA;
7. Ideally Big 4/ Top 10 trained with 7+ years PQE within the real estate, investments, asset management or funds industry;
8. Motivated self-starter who is very results driven; and has an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to provide flexible solutions;
9. Extensive experience with consolidation of multiple entities under IFRS;
10. Strong leadership experience with ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team.
