Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Irish Cream Liqueur manufacturing and bottling facility in Abbeyleix.
About the Role:
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in manufacturing and bottling equipment.
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
* Install and maintain electrical components for machinery.
* Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and equipment failures.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
* Collaborate with maintenance team members and other functional teams to optimise facility operations.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
Your Qualifications:
* Valid certified electrician qualifications.
* Minimum 1-year experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar role, preferably in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
* Experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives.
* Familiarity with HVAC systems and environmental controls.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Willingness to work shifts as required by production demands.
