Job Title: Accounts Payable
Location: Belfast
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per year
Duration: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm, with the option of working from home one day.
About the Role:
We are seeking a strong and confident Accounts Payable professional to manage accounts payable functions for our client.
This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive team with plenty of training and resources to help you succeed.
You will play a key role in managing accounts for a portfolio of commercially managed properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Input supplier invoices into property management accounts system(s).
* Produce payment runs on a regular basis.
* Liaise with surveyors regarding the prioritization of supplier payments.
* Reconcile supplier statements and request copy invoices when necessary.
* Handle queries from clients, surveyors, and suppliers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally, ensuring effective and professional communication.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Adapt to meet targets and client needs as part of a flexible and collaborative team.
* Perform additional duties as required, including filing supplier invoices and liaising with the central compliance team to maintain and create supplier accounts.
Key Skills & Experience:
We require minimum three years of experience in Accounts Payable, along with competence with computerised systems and a methodical approach to work.
A strong organisational skillset, with a keen eye for detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively, and experience in producing reports and handling complex queries are also essential.
