Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accountant to join our team in Co. Laois.
The successful candidate will have full ownership of payroll for over 80 employees, ensuring timely collection, review, and amalgamation of timesheets.
Maintaining accurate records for employees, including details on starters, leavers, pay rates, and benefits in kind.
Finalizing weekly payroll runs with management, ensuring each employee is assigned to the correct project.
Dealing with employee queries in a professional manner.
Tracking annual leave on our system to ensure compliance.
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of ROS reporting requirements.
Providing ad-hoc reports and requests as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fully owning Accounts payable, processing invoices accurately, and allocating costs to the correct project.
* Reconciling supplier balances on our system to supplier statements monthly.
* Assisting the financial controller with monthly management accounts.
* Preparing year-end audit schedules for review.
Requirements:
* Newly qualified Accountant with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work to deadlines and independently.
* Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
* Sage 50 Cloud accounting, Sage 50 payroll, and Business Central (Navision) experience desirable but not essential.
