You will take ownership for the end to end processes employed in the EMEIA Product Operations Supply Chain team, ensuring that they deliver to the high demands of the business as efficiently as possible.
Description
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the EMEIA Product Operations Supply Chain will be responsible for delivering solutions to manage the complex Supply Chain for all Product Ops activity in EMEIA. This position will work closely with multiple cross functional teams to identify, develop and implement innovations which increase efficiency and reduce time & costs in the Supply Chain.
1. Understand the end to end Systemic and Physical processes in detail, enabling you to identify process improvement opportunities or to provide input to change requests from other functions.
2. Analyse the existing processes of functions such as Planning, Procurement & Inventory to implement efficiencies for the entire Supply Chain.
3. Lead efforts on relevant projects and initiatives, partnering with Business Owners and Functional Management across Apple.
4. As the SAP expert, represent the Supply Chain team in cross functional projects and initiatives with teams such as Business Process Reengineering and IS&T.
5. Be the Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for all system related issues within the Supply Chain Org, liaising with IS&T on issue resolution and testing.
6. Own all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for the Product Ops Supply Chain team in cross functional projects.
7. Implement an effective communication strategy to ensure that all partners are kept fully informed on progress.
8. Ensure that initiatives are well scoped, utilise appropriate resources and apply well-costed solutions.
9. Work closely with Business Operations on project costs and ROI.
Minimum Qualifications
* Meaningful experience in a Project Management or Supply Chain role in a high volume global technology manufacturing operation.
* Experienced SAP user.
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and proven leadership skills, along with the ability to operate in a fast paced and flexible environment.
* Comfortable working within a highly matrixed organisation with many resources who do not report to you.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex business and technical situations to a variety of audiences.
* Formal qualification in Supply Chain Management or Project Management would be an advantage.
