Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Community & Corporate Fundraising Relationship Manager to drive fundraising efforts through strategic partnerships and community engagement. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with corporate sponsors, community fundraisers, and donors to ensure sustainable income for our vital services.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
1. Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate partners to secure financial and in-kind support.
2. Develop tailored sponsorship and partnership proposals that align with corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
3. Create engaging fundraising campaigns, corporate challenges, and workplace giving initiatives.
4. Maintain a pipeline of corporate prospects, tracking engagement and impact.
Community Fundraising & Engagement
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with individual fundraisers, schools, sports clubs, and community groups.
2. Develop and promote fundraising campaigns, including regional fundraising events.
3. Support volunteers and community fundraisers, providing resources and guidance to maximise engagement.
4. Represent Childhood Cancer Ireland at networking events, presentations, and community gatherings.
Event & Campaign Management
1. Lead flagship fundraising events, overseeing planning, logistics, and execution.
2. Collaborate with the communications manager to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns.
3. Evaluate fundraising performance, tracking key metrics and donor engagement.
Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
1. Foster meaningful, long-term relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, and fundraisers.
2. Ensure supporters feel valued by providing regular updates, recognition, and impact reports.
3. Manage and update our Beacon CRM system, ensuring accurate records of donors and supporters.
4. Provide regular reports on fundraising progress, revenue, and key impact stories.
Key Skills & Experience
1. Proven experience in sales, fundraising, business development, or corporate relationship management.
2. Strong networking and negotiation skills, with the ability to secure high-value partnerships.
3. Experience in event management and community engagement.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in public speaking.
5. Proficiency in CRM systems and donor management tools, Microsoft 365 (Beacon CRM experience is a plus not essential).
6. Ability to work independently and travel as required (mileage and allowances in line with civil service rates).
