CareerWise Recruitment is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) for a key client on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a hybrid work model (2 days on-site, 3 days remote).
The HRBP will provide professional and compliance-focused support to the HR Director and wider business, leading key HR functions such as talent management, performance management, L&D, compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, and employee engagement. They will also partner with department managers to drive HR strategies that enhance workplace culture and business performance.
* Key responsibilities include mentoring the HR Administrator, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation, and compiling HR metrics for leadership insights. The HR Business Partner will drive Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, lead employee feedback surveys, and support compensation, benefits, and payroll processes. Additionally, they will contribute to HR projects and ensure best practices in all HR activities.
* This role requires strong stakeholder management, strategic problem-solving, and a proactive approach to fostering a high-performing and inclusive workplace.
* Experience: 5+ years in HR, with 2-3 years in an HRBP role within a busy SME.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in HRM or Business Management (Master’s preferred). CIPD accreditation is desirable.
* Expertise: Strong employee relations experience, including handling grievances and disciplinaries, with solid knowledge of Irish employment law (employment law qualification is a plus)
* Skills: Proficiency in HR analytics, project management, and employee engagement initiatives. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
* EDI Focus: Passionate about Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, with experience in the Irish Centre for Diversity framework.
* Other: Strong initiative, decision-making confidence, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
