Senior Operations Supervisor Role
* Leverage your leadership skills to inspire, lead, and mentor diverse teams across our Limerick site.
* Drive Operational Excellence and complex change initiatives across the business.
* Mentor and develop Supervisors, deputizing for Operations Manager as needed.
* Lead operations improvement projects and participate in site or campus operational initiatives.
* Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments under limited supervision.
* Review progress, evaluate results, and recommend changes in procedures and process improvements.
* Accountable for maximizing resources to deliver outstanding results on key performance metrics.
* Deputize for Operations manager and represent Business unit/value stream at site and operations forum.
* Manage production teams to meet customer requirements and deliver KPIs in Quality, Service, Cost, and People Development.
* Participate in budget setting for the business unit.
* Drive a proactive and compliant approach to environmental, health, and safety.
* Champion 6s process, standards, and objectives through coaching, mentoring, and setting direction.
* Mentor and coach Graduate(s) and Operations supervisors.
* Inspire others by setting standards, building trust, partnerships, collaborating, and encouraging diverse perspectives always acting with integrity.
* Create a positive employee relations environment and facilitate high engagement across production teams and cross-functional teams.
* Provide timely feedback and review, ensuring all performance issues are dealt with in a constructive, fair, and prompt manner.
Requirements
* Degree or master's in business, Production Management, Engineering, or similar discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience.
* 7 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment.
* 2-4 years minimum Supervisor experience.
* Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a production environment.
* Demonstrated leadership aptitude to work with people and set direction as part of a cross-functional team.
* Excellent computer skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* Business acumen with an ability to deliver process improvement objectives.
* Good knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, health, and safety.
* Genuine interest in investing in people and facilitating individual and team engagement and development.
* Ability to coach, provide effective feedback, and manage performance.
* Problem-solving methodology experience required with process knowledge desirable.
* Can interpret and analyze information, translating it into operational actions.
* Excellent influencing and communication skills.
