Manufacturing Engineer (Mechanical Equipment)
About the role:
CREGG seeks experienced Manufacturing Engineers to work with Cork's world-leading multinational medical device client. The successful candidate will provide daily support of production line equipment, processes, and materials to achieve production goals. Call Rachel on /
Work/Life Balance:
39-hour week with a 1pm Friday finish
Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot new products/processes while working closely with product development.
* Conduct continuous improvement and yield analysis.
* Drive improvements in process design, layout, and operational performance.
* Engage with technicians, operators, and other cross-functional teams to ensure business process success.
* Contribute to NPI (New Product Introduction) development.
* Execute new equipment introductions.
* Perform root cause analysis using Lean tools and techniques.
* Demonstrate good working knowledge and application of validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 7 Degree.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience working at an Engineering level, ideally in the Medical Device industry or other highly regulated environments.
* Project Planning/Management experience is highly desirable.
* Process & Equipment validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) are desirable.
