This role involves working as a **Senior Data Analyst** within OptumRx's Pharmacy Centre of Excellence, delivering analytics and insights related to primary revenue drivers and supporting process improvements across the 5 Optum-owned pharmacy network.
You'll build relationships with partners across various functions, including Supply Chain, Finance, Network Relations and Clinical.
The ideal candidate has a quantitative mindset, strong problem-solving skills and well-developed communication and technical skills.
The schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, with standard working hours.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop new concepts, technologies and products to meet emerging business requirements.
* Analyse complex problems, break them down into manageable components and apply analytical techniques to find solutions.
* Collaborate with lines of business to understand analytic needs, contribute to shaping business solutions and communicate results of analytics.
* Consult with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure appropriate business content is incorporated into analytic approaches.
* Deliver well-engineered, scalable data products to support integrated analytics and reporting.
* Rapidly develop new insights and iterate upon those insights to drive business decisions.
* Create annotated code and documentation describing analytics methodologies and data product designs.
* Efficiently deliver on ad-hoc analysis requests from a wide range of stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
* Experience with MS Azure, SQL and Machine Learning.
* Technical experience in Python, Data Factory and Machine Learning.
* Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data from disparate data sources.
* Experience in creating rapid prototypes (ETL, Analytics logic).
* Experience in FMCG, Pharma or Retail industries.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in analytics, mathematics, statistics or engineering.
* Experience in delivering predictive and/or prescriptive analytics in an industry setting.
* Experience working in health informatics or within the healthcare industry.
Soft Skills:
* Quantitative mindset and ability to understand complex processes.
* Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines.
