Job Description:
The Property Project Manager will provide strategic guidance and assistance for the best utilisation of our vast and diverse property portfolio, including buildings and land assets.
We are seeking a highly qualified Surveyor or technical professional to fill this role. The successful candidate will be based in Galway with a hybrid element available.
Requirements:
* A degree-qualified (level 8) Surveyor or similar professional qualification
* A full, clean EU driving license
* Proficiency in the English language (spoken, written, technical)
* At least three years of postgraduate experience in Property Management
* A proven track record in Property Acquisitions, Disposals, Lease Renewals, Rent Reviews, and Valuations
* Relevant Property Planning and Valuations experience
* Thorough knowledge of building regulations and guidelines
* Excellent knowledge of Planning and Zoning Regulations
* Strong Communications, Negotiation, and Persuasive skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Competence in managing diverse projects
* Thorough understanding of best practice in Property Management
Ideal Qualifications:
* Chartered status from SCSI / RICS
* Experience with healthcare facilities or institutional properties (desirable)
* Project Management experience
* Flexible approach to work and ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
The successful candidate will provide property management and advisory services to senior management, assist in planning and rationalising existing properties and land, engage with various stakeholders, and oversee all property transactions. They will also maintain the internal Property Database, ensure property valuations are updated, advise on surplus property strategies, and manage Leases & licences.
