Job Description: Catering Staff and Cooks for BHC Agency (Location: Tipperary)
We are seeking experienced Catering Staff and Cooks to join our team for a contract in Tipperary. Successful candidates will meet essential requirements and ensure compliance with relevant standards, including HACCP, health and safety, and the 2012 Agency Worker Act.
Role Requirements:
* Professional Qualifications: Candidates must hold a minimum Level 6 Professional Cookery Award on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or an equivalent qualification (e.g., City & Guilds).
* HACCP Certification: Valid HACCP training (Levels I & II) is essential.
* Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in catering settings such as cafés, hotels, restaurants, or similar environments.
* Skills: Must be able to multitask, work within a multidisciplinary team, and possess strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Communication: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
* Transportation: Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle or reliable commuting options to Tipperary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure high standards in food preparation, adhering to food safety guidelines and HACCP protocols.
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation.
* Maintain strong quality control measures to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
* Coordinate with the team to support smooth operations and meet service quality expectations.
Workplace Compliance and Pay Scale:
* Candidates will be expected to uphold standards as per the Protection of Employees (Temporary Agency Work) Act 2012, with pay ranging from €17 to €25 gross per hour.
Vetting and Security Clearance:
* Successful candidates must undergo vetting and security clearance, including the completion of the Vetting Invitation Form (NVB 1a).
