An opportunity has arisen to join our Education team as a Outdoor Education Instructor on a full-time, term-time, permanent basis.
The role is based at our GSC secure campus outside of Bishopton.
The Outdoor Education Instructor will engage with vulnerable young people to provide exciting and enjoyable ways to learn; providing opportunities and support to achieve their highest potential in outdoor education and future success in training and work.
They will supervise and support young people in a nurturing, stimulating and outdoor environment, ensuring all activities are provided to a high standard primarily in a 1-1 or small group setting, whilst ensuring levels of safety and security are maintained at all times.

The Outdoor Education Instructor will have Education timetable requirements and be required to plan ahead for lessons.

There is also a requirement to apply for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a registered supervisor within the first three months of employment and to be registered as a registered supervisor with the SSSC within six months of employment.
