The role involves contributing to key activities, including the organic functionalisation of metal and semiconductor interfaces, extensive sensitivity and selectivity testing and advancing sensor technology to readiness level 4. Based at University College Cork, this position offers the chance to work closely with academic and industry partners on research with the potential to reshape global air quality monitoring. Ideal candidates will have a background in chemistry, materials science, or related fields and a strong interest in environmental sensor technology applications.
