We are looking for a chef/deli manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Execute the preparation of diverse and creative dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
2. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
3. Kitchen Management: Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness.
4. Customer Interaction & Service: Interact with customers to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
5. Waste Management: Managing food waste, portion control, stock rotation.
6. Experience: Proven experience as a Chef or Culinary Specialist, with a strong understanding of diverse cooking techniques.
7. Creativity: Ability to bring creativity and innovation to the kitchen, contributing to the development of unique and appealing dishes.
8. Menu Development: Collaborate with our team in creating innovative and seasonal menus that showcase the best of local flavours.
9. Local Focus: Appreciation for locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to supporting local producers.
10. Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with our team on the deli.
