Organization Overview
The ERP Services IDS organization is responsible to provide support and advancement of enterprise grade solutions that power the operations of Eli Lilly. The SAP Business Integrator Transportation Management role is primarily responsible for collaborating with our global supply chain business partners, influencing business processes, tools and operating models within the technical solution and business area. The role is required to work across various teams and business processes; and assist the business to shape the future using technology and information in new ways. This position will report to the Information and Digital Services ERP Services Organization, SAP Supply Chain Management group.
Key Objectives/Deliverables
* Manage and participate in day-to-day operations, enhancements, and projects. This includes understanding business impact and evaluating/recommending technical options.
* Perform configuration/development activities as required to implement technical solutions.
* Collaborate with third party providers to deliver technical solutions.
* Interact and collaborate with global and local Business Partners as appropriate, in order to better understand the business and its priorities and represent their requirements within SAP.
* Partner with the business in assessing and defining requirements and drive the development of business cases and system solutions.
* Identify and ensure delivery of knowledge transfer needs between IT and our business partners.
* Promote and deliver process improvements to drive business process optimization.
* Partner and manage third party providers to accomplish delivery of day-to-day operations, incidents, system enhancements and projects. This includes service level management, resource evaluations, escalations of system issues and oversight of the change management processes.
* Work directly with business to research, troubleshoot, and lead resolution for issues.
* Effectively prioritize and escalate issues.
* Continuously improve the operations of the SAP SCM team.
* Responsible for delivering solutions on time, on budget and in a quality and compliant manner.
Basic Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
* 2+ years of Development, configuration, and/or support experience in SAP Transportation Management Module.

* Position is in Cork, Ireland.
* Travel may be required in the future up to 20% of the time.
