We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in CHO7 Ballyboden CDNT 2.
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Contract Hours: 35 hours per week.
Salary Scale: €57,771 to €68,385 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments).
Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service.
Overview of the Post:
To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children 0 – 18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention (including hydrotherapy), and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.

The successful candidate will have
Candidates for appointment must:
1. Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
3. Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
4. Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
5. Be eligible to work in the state.
6. Have a valid driving licence for within the state/jurisdiction with access to own transport in order to deliver services across a large geographical area.
Annual Registration
1. On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
2. Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Additional Requirements:
* A minimum of 1 year’s Physiotherapy paediatric experience working with children with disabilities.
* Experience with:
o Clinical supervision.
o Group work.
o Supervision of other staff and students.
o Physiotherapy caseload management.
o Knowledge and experience of Hydrotherapy intervention.
o Experience of delivering education and/or conducting research.
o Experience in service development and practice standards development.
o Experience in coordinating clinics and leading and working at a consultative level in clinics alongside consultants and other leads.
o Experience in managing databases such as hip surveillance, surgery, Botulinum Toxin, etc., and conducting audits.
