A Compensation and Benefits Manager is needed by our North Cork based global client. The role involves the management of company pension schemes and development of competitive compensation and benefits policies.
THE ROLE:
* Reporting to the Group Head of Human Resources, this newly created role will ensure the development of a remuneration strategy aligned to the overall business strategy. It will have full responsibility for the management and provision of a full range of employee benefits covering Ireland, UK and international locations.
* Manage the operations of pension arrangements including Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and AVC plans for both Irish and international employees. This includes advisory support for employees working closely with the pension providers.
* Manage risk policies including Life Assurance and Income Protection across Ireland, UK and Europe.
* Manage the healthcare policies with VHI, LAYA and Irish Life and the renewals and amendments.
* Lead the planning, communications and roll out of the appropriate career banding structures.
* Direct the development and implementation of systems and tools that support the accurate recording and reporting of data.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Qualification Required: Degree in a relevant Finance/HR/Business discipline. Full QFA qualification a distinct advantage.
* Work Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role in manufacturing, FMCG or Pensions Consulting businesses, at least 3 of which are in a management/leadership role.
* Demonstrated success in an employee benefits environment with strong financial and strategic capabilities.
* Hybrid work arrangement available.
* Applicants must be able to work in Ireland and have good knowledge of the pensions market.
