Senior Legal PA Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and autonomous Senior Legal PA to provide exceptional support to our Senior Partner.
Main Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with Finance teams to support fee earners' financial performance, including client billing and reports, matter balances, and working capital.
* Draft, amend, and prepare correspondence and documentation to a high standard, adhering to house style and meeting tight deadlines.
* Handle client queries in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner, ensuring client satisfaction.
* Create client invoices, draft narratives, prepare reports, and tailor them to client specifications through e-billing.
* Maintain and archive files in both hard and soft copy formats.
* Prepare pleadings, briefs, and bibles for Court proceedings.
* Schedule documents and perform dictaphone and copy typing tasks.
* Organize travel arrangements, manage diaries, and perform other secretarial, administrative, and ad hoc tasks as requested.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Legal PA (or equivalent) in a comparable environment at an appropriate level.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proper use of grammar and punctuation.
* Confidence in stakeholder management, with experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* A consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
* The ability to maintain efficient diary and task management across multiple tasks, ensuring accuracy and service expectations within a high-performing team.
* Enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to problems.
* The ability to remain calm and optimistic in time-sensitive situations or under pressure.
* Flexibility to work outside normal hours to meet client needs.
* High competence in using Microsoft Office suite.
