An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Installation Manager to join our friendly team at WeatherMasterKerry. We are a trusted provider of windows, doors, and conservatories, delivering high-quality installations across Munster. Role Reports to the Managing Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing window, door, and conservatory installation projects, ensuring top-quality service from order placement to final installation and after-sales support. This role requires excellent customer service, project management, and team leadership skills to ensure every installation meets our high standards efficiently and professionally. This role is key to ensuring smooth operations and successful installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organise and manage optimal schedules for installation teams to ensure timely and high-quality work.
2. Monitor project timelines and work with installation teams to solve any problems or delays.
3. Project manage small building/construction works.
4. Schedule service work and manage after-sales queries.
5. Lead, motivate, and develop the installation teams.
Customer Service:
1. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
2. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service.
3. Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Drive Efficiency and Improvement:
1. Provide management reports and support office operations.
2. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
3. Use Lean Management principles (with external support) to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Job Requirements:
1. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a similar industry.
2. Proven experience in managing teams and improving operational efficiency.
3. Results-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.
4. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Good basic IT skills.
7. Advantage: Experience with continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Lean.
