Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Assist with preparing, cooking, and packing lunch for distribution, ensuring a high standard of culinary knowledge.
2. Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, verifying that produce matches orders to optimize efficiency.
3. Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean stations, dispose of expired food, and adhere to strict health and hygiene standards.
4. Learning and Development: Continuously learn about kitchen responsibilities, develop new skills, and improve culinary knowledge to enhance overall performance.
5. Other Duties: Collaborate with other chefs and departments, following company policies and assisting where needed in the back of house.
6. Health and Safety: Ensure food is handled and prepared safely, complying with health and hygiene regulations, and possessing HACCP Food Safety Certification is desirable.
7. Communication: Effectively interact with other chefs, supervisors, and key communication with other departments to maintain a smooth operation.
8. Experience: Ideally possess a background in a CPU or busy kitchen environment focusing on delivering high standards.
9. Individual: Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and be self-motivated to learn and progress within the kitchen environment.
