Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Dungannon, Magherafelt or Enniskillen.
The Assistant Service Delivery Manager will support the delivery of safe, cost-effective, and high-quality transport services within the designated area.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage transport services, staff recruitment, training, and development.
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Monitor fleet maintenance and ensure transport vehicles meet required standards.
* Support operational efficiency and service coordination with other transport services.
* Address employee and trade union issues to maintain positive relations.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and customer complaints, providing solutions.
* Collaborate with external stakeholders (local authorities, community groups).
* Manage private hire contracts and grow business opportunities.
Requirements:
* Supervisory or management experience in transport or a similar industry.
* Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards.
* Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
* Experience managing budgets, financial analysis, and customer service.
* Ability to lead teams and solve problems effectively.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English and Maths, or 2 years of relevant experience.
* CPC qualification (preferred or willing to obtain).
* HNC/HND or equivalent is desirable.
