We are currently looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 to join our team in East of Ireland.
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday, flexible
Purpose of The Role:
To adhere to the Neylons brand and model, upholding quality and compliance while leading on clinical governance advice and guidance within the business. The candidate will assist in developing and implementing best practices in clinical governance and quality to ensure ongoing compliance, keeping up to date with any changes within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the safety and quality of the business.
* Undertake relevant training and development to keep up to date with current legislation and regulatory developments.
* Facilitate meetings within the business with management and clients.
* Provide clinical advice and guidance for the business within the private sector.
* Monitor and manage all areas relating to incidents/accidents and risk management.
* Responsible for operational KPIs - monitoring and reporting to the Managing Director.
* Provide consultation and direction to ensure service provisions are implemented at the highest standards, ensuring customers receive the highest level of care.
* Lead and manage staff.
* Ensure projects and programs are kept under review, identifying issues or challenges, and developing and implementing mitigation plans.
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders to promote the brand.
* This list is not exhaustive, and from time to time you may be required to undertake additional duties.
Requirements:
* RNID, RNG, or RCN - NMBI active registered.
* A relevant qualification in Project Management and/or a thorough understanding of business management.
* Knowledge and understanding of HIQA standards pertaining to Care of the Older Persons and incoming Home Care regulations.
* Excellent understanding of the social and healthcare sectors, especially homecare services.
* Knowledge of how to recognize abuse and safeguarding procedures.
* A good working knowledge of English.
* A knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
