Senior Social Worker Part Time
We are excited to announce the launch of a new Community-Based Mental Health Service, designed to meet the evolving needs of adults aged 18+ in Lucan, West Dublin, and Kildare.
About the Role
This is a standalone social work role working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a community hub setting. The post holder will be part of a wider social work team based in Highfield Hospital, but will need to demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out home visits as well as work in a clinical setting with a 1:1 caseload and group work responsibility
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a community hub setting
Requirements
* Must be registered with CORU
* Drivers license and access to a car
* Demonstrate sufficient clinical and professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role
* Hold a National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW) or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work awarded by the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work, UK, or an equivalent qualification recognised for appointment to the post of Senior Social Worker in Ireland
* Have at least 3 years experience of working in a mental health setting, preferably a combination of acute and community-based roles
* Preferably experience of working with older adults
