SOCIAL CARE LEADER
St Vincent's Adult Day Service, Dublin
PERMANENT – FULL TIME CONTRCAT (39HPW)
Salary:
€ 56,351 -65,807* (LSI)
* Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Req: 90875
Essential:
* QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
* Up to date CORU registration/ Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU
* Recognised management qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent- completed or to be enrolled in a recognised management course.
* Minium of three years' experience in a relative sector.
* Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability.
* CORU registered.
Desirable:
* QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered. Have experience of Person-Centred planning.
* Have an awareness of New Directions and regulations.
* Desire to support people to live their best lives.
* Full clean driving licence for manual vehicles and access to own vehicle.
* Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
* Experience in the area of supervision.
