They now require an experienced Head Chef to ensure the continued delivery of a top-notch food offering and smooth kitchen operations.
Key responsibilities:
1. Oversee all kitchen operations including menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation.
2. Lead and mentor kitchen team, training them to deliver high standards of food quality and presentation.
3. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
4. Ensure compliance with all kitchen regulations, ie HACCP, H&S, Fire, etc.
5. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate:
1. Minimum of three years experience as Head Chef in a quality dining establishment (restaurant, gastrobar).
2. Proven leader with a positive, effective management style.
3. Proven track record in the creation and execution of a quality menu.
4. Proven track record in profitable management of kitchen financials.
5. Keen interest in culinary trends and latest techniques.
6. Full knowledge of all relevant kitchen legislation.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a committed team spirit.
