We are seeking a Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for the creation of desserts, pastries, and baked goods, as well as maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.
* Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen.
* Coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
* Assist in menu planning and development, making recommendations for new menu items.
* Manage equipment costs, maintenance, and service programs for your section.
Requirements:
* Experience as a pastry chef or a similar role.
* In-depth knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
* True passion for food and customer service, with the ability to work as part of a large team.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality presentation.
* A flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and evenings as needed.
